Here you will find details of previous Ragapost / Dazzlecats kittens who have gone to live in their new homes.

Lavender

Lavender was my first ever Ragdoll. Sadly I could not breed from her as she wasnt registered and didnt have pedigree papers. The very hard decision to rehome her was made and she went to live with her new owner Ruth and her family in Cornwall.

Ruth keeps in touch and lets us know how Lavender is getting on which is really nice and we also see that she just gets more beautiful with age.

Crystal

Crystal is Lavenders sister and she was also one of my first ever Ragdolls. Sadly again she wasn't registered so she too was rehomed. Crystal is now called Paris and lives with Denise, Trevor and Tom in Bradford. These pictures were taken today 19/5/07 as Paris has come to stay with us for a week whilst her mum and dad go on holiday. It is so lovely to see how wonderful she has turned out. She is a little bit unsettled at the moment as she isn't used to other cats and feels much safer in the pen in her basket. She has been out for lots of cuddles though and is slowly coming round.

Ragapost Bailey's Dream

Today 23/8/07 Ragapost Bailey's Dream (Bailey) left us to go and live with his new family Gary and Lynn and their children Jenna and Jolee in Staffordshire. Bailey was our first ever homebred Ragapost baby to go to his new family. We will post updated pics of Bailey as and when we receive them from his new owners.

Ragapost Blueberry Dream

Today 07/9/07 Ragapost Blueberry Dream (Blossom) left us to go and live with her new family Theresa and her family in Pontefract. Hopefully we will see Blossom in the very near future when she attends her first show and see how she does. We will post updated pics as and when we receive them from her new owners.

We received some new pictures of Blossom from Theresa today along with an update that she is doing really well and so much loved. As you can see Blossom has turned into a very pretty young lady.

8/08/08 Today we received some very special pictures. Blossom has now produced our 2nd generation of kittens.

Her mum Theresa says she is a wonderful mum and her babies are gorgeous. We are hoping to go and visit with Blossom and her new little family very soon.

20/09/08 Today I visited with Theresa, Blossom and Blossom's lovely new family. Her kittens (two girls and two boys) are absolutley stunning. I am so proud to be a part of these gorgeous babies existence and can honestly say they are a true credit to Theresa's breeding programme too.

Blossom is just like her mum and has been a wonderful mother to her kittens.

Ragapost Precious Pixie

Today 07/9/07 Ragapost Precious Pixie (Pixie) left us to go and live with her new owners Phil and Ania in Leeds. This was a very heartbreaking and emotional decision to let Pixie go as we were going to keep her here at Ragapost as a future breeding queen.

Sadly Pixie developed a tail fault which made her not able to be bred from so we made the difficult decison to let her go to a loving pet home.

We have been invited to be able to go and see Pixie whenever we want to which makes her leaving a little easier to bear but she will be greatly missed all the same. We will post updates and pictures as and when we receive them from her new owners.

Today 08/09/07 we received an email along with the picture posted above from Phil and Ania about Pixie. This is such a relief to know she is settled and happy.

Dear Sarah & Norman

Pixie has settled in really well (kept us awake most of the night purring and cuddling up to us for attention). The car journey home was no problem at all, we think she actually enjoyed it .

Oh yes we have decided to keep the name you gave to her :o)

I feel sure she is fine as she is purring all the time and probably the most affectionate cat we have ever know! We absolutely love her.

Today (27/07/08) we had a lovely surprise. Ania and Phil, Pixie's new owners called in and brought a disc of lovely photo's of her so we could see how she had grown.

Pixie looks amazing and I have to thank Phil and Ania for the wonderful care they have given her.

Pixie is the best cat we have ever had. She follows us everywhere and keeps us company. Pixie has a great personality. Thankyou Sarah. You are a lovely lady and a great breeder. You have helped us all the way through.

Ragapost Creme Delight

Today 08/09/07 Ragapost Creme Delight (Donald), our 4th Ragapost baby went to live in his new home with his new owner Chantell and her son George in Manchester. Donald is going to hopefully be Chantell's solid colour stud boy and we are hoping to get him out on the show bench in the not too distant future as he is a stunning little boy.

We will post updated pictures of Donald as and when we receive them.

Ragapost Diamond Belle & Ragapost Crystal Moonlight

Today 10/09/07 Ragapost Diamond Belle (Persia) and Ragapost Crystal Moonlight (Tallulah) left us to go and live in their new home with their loving owners Gill and Wal Craven in Pickering, North Yorkshire. We have had reports they have settled in wonderfully and have met the other family cat but are yet to meet the dogs (not sure what they might make of them).

We will post updated pictures of Tallulah and Persia as and when we receive them.

Today 7/10/07 we received another email giving us an update on Tallulah and Persia. Here is a copy of what it says:

Hi Sarah

Thought I'd just drop you a quick line to let you know that both the girls are doing just fine and are so adorable, we love them to bits.....

They are really growing, particularly Persia, although Talullah is really filling out and is still so gutsy. Talullah is on my knee as I am writing, she always is, then Persia clambers up to join her, it's great.

8/08/08 Today we received some more new pictures of Tallulah and Persia from their new mum Gill. Here is a copy of her update to us:

The girls are still doing very well. They are both so gorgeous, and full of character. We love them to bits. They charge around the house like little maniacs with Alfie (their ginger brother) from one room to another, its so funny to see them.

We haven't been able to get them out in their run as often as we would like as the weather is just not summery at all really, but we do the
best we can and they seem to enjoy it.

Just sent a couple of recent pictures of them in the run for you to see. Keep trying to take pictures all the time but just as you do
they move, so when I get some decent ones I will let you see them.
As I said before I do hope everything is going ok for you guys, keep

Tallulah Persia

Today 09/01/09 We had another update on Tallulah and Persia. The girls are doing well and it is so lovely to keep getting the updates on them even after all this time. For that we are ever grateful to their wonderful mum Gill. Thanks Gill we never tire of seeing the girls as they grow.

Persia new july 09

17/11/2009 Today we got another update on Persia and Tallulah. The girls are doing very well and are as spoilt as ever. We would like to express our sincere thanks to Gill and Wal for keeping in touch with us still about the girls we love hearing about them and seeing their new photo's. Their mum Gill has posted a comment on our guestbook.

Persia Tallulah

Ragapost Tom Thumb

Today 6/10/07 Ragapost Tom Thumb (Reggie) finally got a new family of his very own and left us after 19 long weeks from being born. It will feel very strange without him now as he had become a part of the furniture but it is lovely he has his own new family now just like his litter mates.

Reggie has gone to live not far away, at the other side of Leeds with his new owners Christine and Michael Gould. They have promised to keep in touch and send us updates of Reggie as he grows so we will post them as and when we receive them.

7/10/07 We spoke to Reggie's new mum and dad today and he has settled lovely. He is eating and playing and totally unbothered by his move. Here is a picture of him taken at his new house looking very charming for the camera.

9/11/07 Today we received some lovely new pictures of Reggie aka Mr Gorgeous as he is now known. Reggie is turning into a handsome young man and is very spoilt. Here is the message his new mum and dad Carol and Mike sent us with his photo's.

Ragapost Little Miracleman & Ragapost Cuteasabutton

Today 15/12/07 Ragapost Little Miracleman (Stuart) and his sister Ragapost Cuteasabutton (Porchia) went to their new homes together with Maureen and her family in Leeds.

It was a very hard day for all of us especially letting Stuart go as he was hand reared for 6 1/2 weeks and had formed a very close bond with us all.

This young man is very special to us all here at Ragapost and will be for the rest of his life.

Thankfully Maureen is a family friend so we will continue to see Stuart and Porchia develop and grow and can keep the website updated with lots of pictures of them.

07/02/08 Stuart and Porchia have settled really well with their new family and continue to get on well together.

Porchia is very loving and loves cuddling which is totally the opposite of how she used to be as a kitten. Stuart meanwhile is making up for lost time being a total monster and the demon of the family.

We received some new pictures of them today. Porchia doesn't look like the same cat anymore she seems so grown up. Stuart however is his same old self but not so scruffy looking. He looks like he is also going to have a magnificent tail as he gets older.

14/04/08 We received some updated photo's today of Stuart. These photo's left more than a lump in my throat, they also brought tears to my eyes as I never believe we'd see the day that he became such a handsome young man after his bad start in life.

He still has that certain Stuart look about him but its so hard to believe he is the little scrap of scruffiness he was on his first pictures to how he looks now.

A big thankyou goes to Maureen and her family for loving him and Porchia and giving them such a wonderful home.

Ragapost Midnight Blue

Midnight aged 6 weeks old

Today 03/02/08 Ragapost Midnight Blue (Midnight) left us to join his new family.

Midnight has gone to live with a previous kitten we bred Ragapost Tom Thumb (aka Mr Gorgeous) and his owners Mike and Carol Gould.

We spoke to Carol today and Midnight and Mr G are getting on like a house on fire and Mr G defiantely approves of his new house mate.

We will update on Midnights progress as and when we receive it.

A big thankyou to Carol and Mike for welcoming yet another of our special kittens into their family.

Today we received some photo's of Midnight together with his new big brother Mr G from his new owners. They seem to love each other very much as you can see from the photo's.

29/02/08 A new updated photo of Mr G and Midnight.

12/04/08 Today we received a new updated photo of Midnight and Mr G. They are both continuing to do really well and growing up fast. Midnight is almost as big as Mr G now as you can see from the photo.

A really big thankyou to their new owners Mike and Carol for keeping us updated on their progress and continuing to send us photo's of them it is lovely for us to see them growing.

Ragapost Ocean Emperor

Lexington aged 6 weeks old

Today 03/02/08 Ragapost Ocean Emperor (Lexington) also left us to join his new family.

Lexington has gone to live with Carolyn and her family in Huddersfield so he is not a million miles away from us which is nice.

We will update on Lexington's progress as and when we receive it from his new owners.

07/02/08 We have heard today that Lex has settled very well into his new home. He is getting on well with the dog and doesn't seem scared of her at all. She seems to enjoy washing him too which is nice.

This is what his new mum Carolyn had to say:

Hi Sarah,

I know Lexington hasn't been long gone from you but I thought I'd send you a couple of pics I've managed to get done of him. He's settled in brilliantly and gets on really well with the other cat and the dog. He's already spoiled rotten and the subject of many arguments between the kids over "who will hold him next."

We'll keep in touch and send through pics of him so you can watch his progress and see how he grows up.

12/04/08 We also received some updated photo's of Lex today as well. He too is growing up fast and continues to do very well.

Lex is a mini me version of his mum Mia. Looking at the first picture of him he is Mia's double when she was a kitten.

Ragapost Heart Of A Warrior - Sonny

Sonny left for his new home to live with Kay, Graham and Lucy in Lancashire. He is a very spoilt young man and continues to grow into a very handsome fella.

Marley is the brother to Sonny and he went to live in Scotland with Veronica and her family. Again Marley is a very spoilt boy and has developed wonderfully.

Dazzlecats China Rose - Brie

It was hoped that Brie would remain here with us as a show / breed girl but sadly she wasnt suitable due to her pattern and type so she went as a pet to a very loving home. We have to thank Saskia and her family for this and for looking after her so well.

Dave went to his pet home and to be with his older adopted sister Brie. Thanks again to Saskia for giving these two babies a loving home.

Dazzlecats New Beginnings - Talei

Talei was one of our first maine Coon babies to be born here at dazzlecats. We are very proud to say that she has gone to live in Cumbria with Allison of Westlakes Maine Coons and her family in Cumbria. Talei is to be part of her new solid colour breeding programme so were are very excited to see how she gets on.

We continue to be in contact with Alison and have received these new photos showing how gorgeous she now is. We are so proud to be part of her breeding and can only thank Alison for her love and care towards our precious girl.

Dazzlecats Alfred The Great - Alfie

Alfie went to live not far from us in Rothwell, Leeds. His new owners Jo and Rob love him to bits and keep in touch with us letting us know how he is doing and sending up to date photo's of him.

Barley went to live at his new home in York with Kirsty and Adam. He continues to do well and we will post updated photo's when we receive them.

Dazzlecats Dash Of Cream - Bella

Bella went to a pet home to be very much loved by Faye and her family. Again Bella isnt far away from us so we still see her from time to time.

Dazzlecats Forget Me Not - Moon

Moon went to live with her new family in York. She is very much loved and has lots of animal friends for company. She loves cuddling up with the family's Alsatians and watching Gloria the pet chicken through the patio doors.

Dazzlecats Wee Willie Winky - TC

Winky or as he is known now TC was a very special boy and it took lots of courage and tears to part with him. He now lives with Stuart and his canine friend Arnie and is loved and spoilt to bits.

TC will always hold a special place in our hearts here at Dazzlecats and we will continue to see him on a regular basis.

Dazzlecats Blue Myst - Murphy

Murphy went to live in his new home in Rothwell, Leeds with Ali, Libby and Ben. He has had his moments since he went to live there but has now settled nicely and looks wonderful.

Murphy is the brother of TC and Skye.

Skye has gone to live with her new family in Newcastle. She is the much loved pet of Nicola and her family. Again we continue to get updates on Skye and will post new photos when we receive them

Ragapost All Good Things - Belle

Belle is one of the last ragdoll kittens to be born here at Dazzlecats - Ragapost so she is even more special. Belle has gone to live with Angela and will be her very first show / breed girl.

We are really excited that this has happened as we will have a wonderful legacy to our gorgeous girls Trinity (granny) and Faith (mum).

We look forward to seeing her grow up and watching her progress

Today 22/01/2011 Belle made her debut on the show bench. She was at the Notts and Derby cat show and did very well. We were pleased to find out she was awarded 2nd place in her Open Class and also gained a second and two third places in her side classes. This was a good result as most times Ragdolls dont always get placed in the side classes being up against the rest of the semi longhaired breeds. Well done Belle and a huge congratulations to Angela. Thankyou for showing her so well.

Ragapost End of An Era - Fred

Fred has gone to be a very spoilt and pampered pet of Jess and her family in Keighley. We recieved a text saying he had settled in very well and was being his usual monkey self. We look forward to hearing updates from Jess as to how he is doing.

Ragapost Grand Finale - Alfie

Alfie was the last of Faith's babies to go to his new home. He is going to be the very spoilt and loved pet of Paul and Stasia and is living in Keighley. We have since heard that he is settling in well in his new home alongside his new housemate the family dog. He seems to be adjusting well to her being around him and has shown no fear whatsoever.

Dazzlecats My Girl - Arwen

Today 26/06/2010 Arwen left for her new home. Arwen is going to very much loved and spoilt by Kelsey, Matthew and Kyle and be a lovely baby sister for Luna the families blue cream British Shorthair. Arwen's photo's were taken on her last day here with us whilst she was waiting to leave for her new home. She rather enjoyed laying on the picnic table in the sunshine. Things are very quiet around here now without this gorgeous girl and we look forward to hearing from her new owners at regular intervals telling us how she is getting on and sending us updated photo's.

Dazzlecats Luck Be A Lady - Dooley

Today 27/06/2010 Dooley left us to go to her new home. Dooley had a rather long journey to her new home in Fife, Scotland. A big thanks go to Audrey for giving her her own forever family. Dooley will soon be making her debut out on the show bench so fingers crossed she will do well. Things are not the same without Dooley as she was a very vocal little girl and loved to follow you everywhere. Dooley's photos were taken on her last day here just as she was about to leave for her long journey home.

We will update this page with how she does and post new photo's when we receive them.

Here are some photo's taken of Dooley when she was entered into the Edinburgh and East Of Scotland Show. She did very well on her first outing and gained Second Place in her Open Class and then a second and a third in her side classes. Well done Dooley we are very proud of you baby girl.

Dazzlecats Indian Summer - India

Today 06/10/2010 India left for her new home. India is not far away and is with Jenny and her furry coonie family at Ultramaine Maine Coons in Denholme. India will be her new breeding girl and will be from her own stud boy's lines. India is already settling well and we look forward to watching her grow. A big thankyou goes to Jenny for giving her a lovely home. India caught Jenny's eye right from the beginning and she loved her and couldn't not have her go live with us to carry on her lines.

India is now almost 6 months old and is coming on a treat. She has grown and developed so well and Jenny is very pleased with her. India's best friend at the moment is Jenny's young stud boy Diego and they spend lots of time rough and tumbling together.

Our good friend Jenny at Ultramaine Maine Coons in Bradford sent us a lovely updated photo of India looking absolutely gorgeous. India is a very special kitten and we are hoping when she has her own babies to have one come back here and live with us to carry on her mum Tula's lines.

Dazzlecats Lion Heart - Leo

Today 06/10/2010 Leo went to his new home with Audrey and Dooley (Ruby's daughter from this years litter). Leo is settling well although his bigger housemate isnt very keen on his presence at the moment. A very big thankyou goes to Audrey for giving yet another of our precious babies a loving home. It was very hard to part with this little guy as he'd really got under my skin.

Today we received some lovely new photo's of Leo. He hasnt changed one bit just got much older looking. He is settling in well and is very much a part of their family now. Dooley has accepted him also now and they are the best of friends.

Dazzlecats Tropical Breeze - Breeze

Today 06/10/2010 Breeze left us to go to her new home with Deborah and her family in Huddersfield. Breeze has also settled well and is getting to know her canine housemates and getting along nicely with them. A big thankyou goes to Deborah for giving Breeze a lovely home. We look forward to receiving updates when she grows.

Dazzlecats Lone Star - Mister

Today 06/10/2010 Mister went on his long journey to London to his new home with Mariam. We have already heard from Mariam and know that Mister is settling in exceptionally well and being very spoilt by her and her family. We look forward to updates and seeing him grow up. Thankyou for giving him a loving home Mariam.

Dazzlecats Vanilla Myste & Dazzlecats Blue Whisper - Little Bill & Izzy

Today 13/11/2010 Little Bill and Izzy went to their new home together. Its lovely to know they will be able to grow up together and a very big thankyou goes to Marie, Wayne, Holly and Lewis for allowing them to join their family. We have already heard that they have settled well and look forward to receiving photos as they grow.

Little Bill and Izzy are continuing to do well in their new home. Izzy is very much a laid back little girl and well behaved. As for Little Bill he is a very naughty young man and very much the acrobat as will be seen on his photo's.

Dazzlecats Star Gazer & Advish Bloobell - Thomas & Izzy

Today 13/11/2010 Thomas and his mum Izzy left for their new home together. We are especially grateful to Isabelle, Julian, Daisy and Zara for not only giving Thomas a loving family home but also for allowing his mum to go with him. It was a very sad moment here at Dazzlecats as Izzy was our foundation queen in our British Shorthair breeding programme and its a big change to not have her here. However knowing she is being loved and living with her son makes it all worthwhile. We look forward to hearing how they do and hope Izzy soon settles with her new family.

Dazzlecats Tru Purrfection - Tula

Today 17/11/2010 after a lot of soul searching and big decisions we agreed to let Tula go and join Myke and Julie at Snoozicoons as part of their solid breeding programme. It was a very emotional day as Tula was our first home bred maine coon baby and it took a lot of courage to part with her. We have since heard that she has settled really well and has been introduced to all their girls and is making friends fast. We look forward to seeing how she grows and watch her other new arrivals in the coming years. Thankyou Myke and Julie we know you will look after her and take good care of her.

Dazzlecats Gallileo Galelei - Leo

This very special young man left us today to go to his forever home. Leo was a singleton kitten born by C Section so has had lots of love and attention from us and has gained a very special place in our hearts. We know he will be very spoilt by Rachel, Mark and Rowan at his new home in Norwich.

We are in very close contact with Leo's new mum and hopefully he will be out on the show bench strutting his stuff.

Dazzlecats Bombay Dreams - Indi

Today 16/9/2011 Indi left us to go to his new home. Indi is a gorgeous friendly boy who is excelling all expectations with his weight. We've never had such a big kitten before in our breeding programme. His leaving weight was 5lb 4 1/2 ounces so we are very excited to see how he grows.

Dazzlecats Boston Light - Boston

Today 15/9/2011 Boston left us to go to his new home. We will really miss this little boy as he is such a purr box and loves sitting on your knee being cuddled. The house is very quiet without him. We look forward to hearing about his adventures in his new home from his new owners Mike and Clare.

Dazzlecats Angels Kiss - Angel

Today 24/09/2011 After a change of circumstances Angel left for her new home with Gina. Angel will be Gina's new edition to her breeding programme and we hope she does well for her. We have since heard Angel settled in very well and has taken everything in her stride in her new home.

Dazzlecats Havanah Beach - Leo & Dazzlecats After Dark - Marcello

Today 28/09/2011 Leo and Marcello left for their new homes with their new dads Jamie and Tino. We will be in close contact with the boys and their new dads as Leo will be going to a few shows with us to see how he does. We are very excited about this as he is a gorgeous boy and wonderfully marked.

The boys have settled well in their new home but still to meet the resident dogs they will be sharing their home with.

Today 29/09/2011 Frank and Betty left for their new home in Huddersfield with Julie and Andy. Today was a very hard day as Frank had made a big impact on my life and I had become very attached to him. To say their departure was an emotional one would be an understatement. We know they have gone to a wonderful home though and will be very much loved. We look forward to updates and photos as they get along.

Today 29/09/2011 Miss Dakota left for her new home with Avril. Dakota was a quiet and timid little thing when she was here but has since come out of her shell being in her home. Dakota will be very spoilt that we know for sure and we look forward to visiting her soon.

Dazzlecats Vanity Fayre - Freya

Today 4/12/2011 Freya left us to go and live with our Myke and Julie McKay at Snoozicoons in Scotland. Freya was going to stay here with us but it was decided that we both would open up our breeding lines so she went to live there and we gained a gorgeous new baby in return. We look forward to seeing and hearing how Freya does on the show bench in the near future.
