Welcome to the website of Dazzlecats Maine Coons and British Shorthair Cats. We are hobby breeders based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Dazzlecats is an independently registered prefix with the GCCF. We work soley on our own and we have no connections with any other breeders in the UK with prefixes similar to our own.

All our cats and kittens are fully GCCF registered and brought up within the home as part of the family. We pride ourselves on the way our kittens are very sociable and settle into their new homes very easily. We breed for health and temperament and all our kittens are well adjusted when they leave here. 

We hope enjoy looking around our site and meeting our wonderful cats and kittens.

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE ARE MORE OF WHAT WE CALL "BACKYARD BREEDERS" POPPING UP ALL THE TIME. ALL KITTENS SHOULD BE SOLD FULLY VACCINATED, HAVE HAD AT LEAST 2 SATISFACTORY VET CHECKS AND COME WITH GCCF REGISTRATION PAPERWORK AND PEDIGREES. PARENTS SHOULD BE REGISTERED ON THE ACTIVE REGISTER OTHERWISE THEY HAVE BEEN SOLD AS PETS AND SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN BRED FROM. THERE IS ALWAYS A REASON FOR THIS!!!

KITTENS EYES, NOSES AND MOUTHS SHOULD BE CLEAR AND CLEAN AND FREE FROM INFECTION.
THE KITTENS SHOULD BE BROUGHT UP IN FAMILY FRIENDLY, CLEAN ENVIRONMENTS AND SHOULD BE WELL SOCIALIZED.
REMEMBER IF THE KITTEN AND ITS PRICE SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT USUALLY IS. WHAT COULD START OFF BEING A CHEAPER OPTION COULD END UP COSTING A LOT MORE IN THE LONG RUN ALONGSIDE LOTS OF HEARTACHE.
IF FOR ANY REASON YOU ARE UNSURE WHEN YOU GO TO VISIT A KITTEN IN ITS BREEDERS HOME THEN WALK AWAY. GUT INSTINCTS ARE USUALLY RIGHT.
